For my final blog post, I wanted to reflect on my year as a whole. When I first started this class, I wanted to excel in Japanese and make the most of my learning experience. I wanted my whole semester to reflect my determination to do my very best, and I did pretty well in the beginning. But towards the middle of the semester, I started to feel the stress of having to study for my exams and balance workstudy and my resposibilities at home. It affected a lot of my schoolwork, including my blog, and it was exactly the opposite of what I wanted.. T_T

I wasn't consistent with my blog for reasons like not having internet, or getting home really late from school with only just enough time to go straight to bed. And for a while, I had a lot of personal issues that really took me out of my focus.. But I know that personal problems are always going to be there - part of growing up is knowing how to overcome those issuses and still be responsible enough to get your work done. I caught up with most of my work and most of my blog posts, but I had wanted things to be different this semester. But I do know that throughout this semester, especially in my 日本語のクラス、I learned so much. Sometimes after class, Jo and Emilio and I would talk about the grammar and the 漢字 we had learned, and it really started to hit me that I was able to form much better sentences, even tell stories about my day. I appreciated the way you taught, かく先生, because you made it interactive and had a lot of visual aids which made things a lot easier. I enjoyed learning about Japanese culture from the perspective of a native Japanese person, because it's a lot different learning from an American who lived there for a while. (Although, don't get me wrong: I loved having Prof. Calichman too ヽ(；▽；)ノ).

I'm glad I had the opportunity to taking Japanese 3 with you, かく先生, and thank you for challenging us the way you did. I'm excited to continue my learning next semester with Conversational Japanese, and I will make sure to keep practicing so that one day, I can travel to Japan and really experience the country, the food, and the people myself. <3

私は私の一番のコンサート :D

はこんばんわみんなさん！今日は ８日１２月ですけどこのブログポスは４日１２月です。(^_^).

今晩は、私は私の一番のコンサートがありました。私はコリスのクラスのなかです。きょうはさごいクラスはコンサートがありますから。 私の彼氏と私の友だちは来ました！私の彼氏と私の友だちは前に座って、私のクラスを見ました。Ambarはしゃしんとビデオをともりました。 As a class we sang 7 songs, including the CCNY school song ^__^ and my friends and my my boyfriend were watching the whole time. I felt so special, having the entire audience clapping for us and knowing that people I cared about were there. 私の友だ中、Delsyは私のかみ（hair）をしました。きれいでしたよ！<3 コンサートノアと、マクに息って、食べものを食べました。それから、私は帰りました。今日はとてもいい日でした。<3

シークレットサンタ

私の友だちと私は「シークレットサンタ」をします。私たちのグルプは２０人です。われわれは１人は１２月のおわりのまえにプレセントを買いま。それから、私の友だちと私はプレセントを与えます。This is actually the first time my friends and I are doing this and we're really excited!! 私の友だちのプレセントは私のアパートにすでにあります。I have to wait to give it to her, but I already know she's going to love it! <3

サンクスギビングダイ

はこんばんわみんなさん！今日は ８日１２月ですけどこのブログポスは２０日１１月です。(^_^).

二つ日に、サンクスギビングダイです。しかし、今年、私たちは大きい晩ご飯がありません。We decided to do things a little differently this year since there have been a lot of things going on within the family. My dad is still coming over and we're all still eating together, but we're saving the big dinner for Christmas ^_^。今週も、「黒い野金曜日」です。ストーアーに行きません、わたしのいえにいます。The crowds はとても危ないです。。。ちょっと怖（こわ）いですよ。木曜日に、私はジュエリーを買いたいです。たくさんウエブサイトはセイルがあります。それはとてもいいです。

私の好き休日 (My Favorite Holiday)

はこんばんわみんなさん！今日は ８日１２月ですけどこのブログポスは１３日１１月です。(^_^).

I like most holidays, けど私の好きな休日はクリスマス。この休日はすぐ来ますと私はとてもうれしいですよ！クリスマス時ぐらい、おんがくと料理とデコレイシオンスは好きです。毎年、私の家族と私はクリスマス晩ご飯を作ります。私の好きな食べものはチーズケーキとラサニア、とこの食べもの、私の芋とと私いっしょにを作ります。私たちスペシャルカレンダーガアリマス。このカレンダーが１２月の日あります、一日から二十五日まで。２５日１２月に、私の父は私の家にきって、てばものいっしょに食べて、プレセントを与えます。We always have a great day together, and my sister and I spend the rest of our evening watching Christmas movies and enjoying our gifts. All in all, it's my favorite holiday. (^__^)

私のルーチン

こにちわみんなさん！今日は１１月６日です。TODAY IS ALSO ELECTION DAY SO REMEMBER TO VOTEEE!!

おはようございまうす！私は私のルーチンを葉にしたいです。私は午前六時に起きます。それから、私はシャワーをあびます。I get dressed and 朝ご飯を食べません。。。I don't have enough time in the morning．

Blog Post for 10/30.. Sorry I'm Behind! (T_T)

こにちわみんなさん！今日は１０月３０日です。明日はHalloweenですよ！あなたは何をなりたいですか？私は学生です。Hahaha (^_^)。今週はハリケーンサンデｲに行きました。。。困りますね？わたしのいもとと母はだいようぶでした。We had plenty of candles and we also collected water in plastic containers and some large pots, so we were prepared if the electricity went out. But course we didn't want that! たくさんえいがとテレビのプログラムを見ました。わたしは「Thor 」と 「Captain America」をみました。このえいがは好きじゃないですよ。。。But other than that it was a pretty normal weekend for me. We'll see how the rest of this week plays out.. Maybe we won't have school! ＾＿＿＿＿＿＾

We've Made It Halfway Through The Semester! :D

こんばんわみんなさん！今日は土曜日です。きのうはいいてんきでしたねえ！はれるでした。私は私のアパトからCCNYまでに歩きました．私は二と半マイル歩きました。コロンビアの学生とこども in Halloween costumes を見ました。私は昼ご飯を食べて図書館に行きました。It took me about an hour and a half to print my Biology chapters... T_T。それからビオロジのチャップターを読みました。私は三階に行って、午後三時から午後五時三分までにいました。

I walked back home but it was much windier and the sun was goin down. By the time I got back home, it was dark, but the trip to and from school was totally worth it because I actually got some studying done! Ｏ(≧▽≦)Ｏ

こんばんわみんなさん！今日は２３日１０月ですけどこのブロブポスは１６日１０月です。(^_^)

たくさん人は「コミコン」に行きました。でも、わたしはコミコンに行きませんでした。。。
o(╥﹏╥)o　コミコンの週まつ、私は私のアパトにいました。。。私は少し勉強をしました。私もビデオを見せました；「YouTube」は好きです。

わたしのへやの中、本を読みました。The book is basically a murder about a news reporter getting involved in the uncovering of the death of the president's infant son. この本はとてもおもしろいですけどできません。Hopefully I can finish soon because I'm dying to know how it ends, not until midterms are over!

Blog Post for 10/9/12

こんばんわみんなさん！今日は２３日１０月ですけどこのブロブポスは９日１０月です。(^_^)

毎周火曜日と木曜日は私と私の友だちで食堂に「Paper Football」をします。「Paper Football」と　「American Football」は同じです。

 

 

We even have our own logo!! =D

 

There's a "ball", the salt packets are the other players, and we even have a set of fans at the stadium (represented by the empty bottles we leave at the table haha).

 

To play, you can only flick the "ball" four times per turn. Landing on the line at the other end of the "stadium" is a touchdown (worth 2 points) and then you get on field goal (worth 1 point). Each person has team name and plays until one team scores 十五ポイト。このゲムはとても面白いですね！どんなゲムはあなたをします？

こんばんわみんなさん！今日は２３日１０月ですけどこのブロブポスは２日１０月です。(^_^)

今週、私は二つのテストがあります！ビオロジのきょうかしょうと日本語のきょうかしょうを読みます根！I'm really not too worried about my Biology exam but たくさん漢字が覚えます！

今週まつ、新しポケモンゲム is being released, けど、おかねはありません。(。┰ω┰。)　私は仕事いりますよ。。。Since I can't buy the game, I'll ask my other friends what they think of it. I also have to get the legendary Pokemon that they are offering at Gamestop, because I kept forgetting to go get it T_T. This Saturday is my last chance! D:

My love for キングダムハーツ！

こんいちわ！今日は日曜日、勉強をできました。私のビオロジーきょかしょを読みました。（それはぜんぜのもしろくなかった。。。o(´^｀)o

I wanted to dedicate this post Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance, 新しいキングダムハーツゲーム。このゲームは毎日をしましょ！グラフイクスはとてもすばらしいです！

The towns you get to visit are based on Disney movie locations, which I love - I'm a HUGE Disney fan! :D I got lost on The Grid (from Tron the movie) for quite a while and it was extremely frustrating haha. I got the game as a gift from my boyfriend <3 and I've been playing ever since. (/^▽^)/ But I'm nearing the end of the game so I'm pretty bummed... o(╥﹏╥)o

My favorite town is probably "Symphony of Sorcery" because it's based on the movie Fantasia and there's calssical music playing in the background. When you fight the Nightmares (the bad guys), instead of swords clashing, you actually hear musical notes played by different instruments so it's pretty cool. :) Below is are just some pictures of the scenery and honestly, this level is beautiful to look at, especially in 3D.

Randonmess... :D

こんいちわみんな！今日は火曜日です。It rained a bit today, but I was home so かさをつかいませ
ん。

For the past few days, 私はま新しいまんがを読みました。まんがの名前破「The Drifting School」。このまんがはシｲフイと "horror" です。The 小学校 is transported to the future and it's a lot like the The Time Machine by H.G. Wells (which is an awesome book as well).

Even though I should be studying, I wanted to watch some あにめけど私のインタネドはだめでした。:( イントロとクロシイングは好きです。日本のおんがくはと手絵もいいですよ！Even though I don't know most of the words, since I started taking 日本語、私ちょっとわかります。

こんにちわみんなさん！Welcome to my blog! よろしくおねがいします！
私の名前はビッキーです。私は二十二さいです。

日本のぶんか好きいです。 I love the music and the fashion, and of course (like most Americans), I am a big fan of あにめとまんが! I especially love the JRock scene, One OK Rock and SpyAir being two of my favorite bands. 私の好きなまんがはデスノトです。私はあにめも好きいです。

I live in Manhattan with my parents and my younger sister so that makes me an　お姉さん＾＿＾。

In my spare time, I love to read mystery books and I also write poetry and short stories.

My goals for this class are to become more fluent in Japanese and improve my reading and my writing skills. I would love to go to Japan someday and immerse myself with the people, and I would like to do that without a わえいじてん！I want to learn all about the food and do plenty of sightseeing, but first, I must learn all that I can in class.

I look forward to learning all that I can from the language and also from かく先生！
